Things to consider when choosing a new
colocation facility

Your hosting project may dictate a change in your security risk or posture. You will need to ensure access to systems is controlled effectively and may need to review these procedures. Hosting providers have internal systems that hold access authentication information, it is essential you have a process that ensures these records are kept up to date.

Hosting providers vary in the security levels they deploy; this can range from relatively low in an entry level facility, to extremely comprehensive in facilities designed for market sectors such as government or finance. If you require specific security features such as caged area, CCTV, smartcard entry, biometric fingerprint or retinal scans and or compliance to ISO standards, then let us know and we can include this requirement within our search.
